April 28. Day 365

Happy Birthday to the youngest one-year old on the block!  I've been thinking about the wording of this post for a long time.  But since a picture is worth a thousand words, I made a video.  It's almost 10 minutes long, so I guess its worth at least 10 000 words.  Ryan has come a very long way.  He still has lots of hurdles to overcome, but having the 'toughest' year behind us, hopefully we'll have more forward steps than backwards ones.  Thank you for all of the continued support and understanding.  Year 2 will certainly be an interesting one.  So far we still have appointments almost every day, but luckily many of them are still at the house. The next step with his oxygen is 'off'.  He'll have surgery to repair his hernia sometime this summer.  He will swim. He will have picnics.  He will go on a swing.
